Kanetix Ltd. is proud to be awarded one of Canada’s Top Small and Medium Employers for 2018 by the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers.

A work culture based on honesty and collaboration, a group with diverse talent and background, a career path that offers growth and learning – that’s what we strive to offer to our employees.

“What has kept me at Kanetix for over 15 years has been the growth and innovation that occurs here on a daily basis.  This applies to our business overall but more importantly it applies to the Kanetix team.  Yes, we do things like Hackathons, employee feedback sessions, lunch-and-learns but more importantly we encourage everyone to do things differently and better than they did yesterday.   Our growth is directly related to our employees’ growth.” – Says Janine White, VP – Marketplaces and Strategy Development.

We’re also incredibly proud about our workplace diversity. 50 per cent of the leaders on our Executive team and 42 per cent of our total workforce are women. Of the 42 per cent, 56 per cent are from diverse backgrounds and 41 per cent hold managerial positions in the organization.

We also participate in a number of initiatives that benefit our community. We support the YWCA Toronto Girl’s Centre, Girl’s Tech Tour, Ride for Heart, Movember, Canadian Blood Services, Food Banks and more. We also offer employees the opportunity to use a work day for volunteer work.

Being in the InsurTech space, we focus largely on innovation and product development. But what makes working at Kanetix Ltd. special is that we combine the work with so many other things that matter to employees to help them achieve work-life balance.

“It’s amazing that the selection process considered some of the criteria which have actually been on the top of our list right since the inception of the company. Things like workplace atmosphere, skill building, great benefits and fostering a sense of community are very important to us.”- Says Reygan Hale, VP – People Operations.
